Health Trade License is a license provided by the Municipal
Company under the eleventh schedule of Delhi Municipal Company Act 1957. It

The Municipal Company has the authority to shut down
business, in case the owner in above mentioned facility fails to obtain the
Health Trade License.
Licensing
Procedure:
An application for this license can be made either at the
particular Zonal Resident's Service Bureaus (CSB) or on website of the state's
Municipal Company. The application can be submitted in any of the 12 MCD zonal
workplaces also. A processing costs of Rs 500 /- per application will be
collected at the time of Submission of Application, which includes Rs.50 /-
plus service charges.
Following are the
papers needed for acquiring a brand-new Health Trade License:
1. Ownership proof- Proof of legal tenancy of site if
applicant is the owner.
2. If applicant is the owner, property Tax Receipts/Proof--.
3. For tenants- Rent receipt/agreement or NOC from property
owner.
4. Site plan copies- 2 copies of site plan prepared by
licensed designer.
5. Layout plan- Blueprint prepared by licensed designer
revealing location of premises.
6. Affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper- Relating to
unauthorized construction can be obtained for Rs.10 /- as per format.
7. Indemnity Bond- On non-judicial stamp paper worth Rs.100
/- as per format.
8. MOA list of Directors and resolution of Board of
Directors- In favor of applicant for acquiring license.
9. Structural stability certificate- This need to be
properly signed by structural engineer.
10. Water testing reports- From licensed laboratory and the
source of supply of water (where Delhi Jal Board is not providing water).
11. Building Sanction Plan & completion plan- To be
submitted along with completion certificate.
12. Proof of notification of commercial/mixed use of road-
Under combined land use as per MPD 2021 and evidence of payment of conversion
charges, parking charges and registration charges.
13. Partnership deed & NOC- From partners in favor of
the candidate.
14. Proof of sewer connection.
15. Medical certificates of workers- Clinical fitness and
typhoid vaccination certifications of food handlers in consuming facility.
16. Letter from Delhi Police- Suitable in case of swimming
pools, movie theater halls, guest houses / hotels.
17. NOC from fire department / fire extinguisher- For
guesthouses, movie theater, auditorium, bistros having more than 50 seats.
18. Electricity paid bill.
19. Water paid bill.
For Lal Dora only:
20. Lal Dora Certificate - This certification establishes
that a person is the owner of a specific property/land in the Abadi location of
a village (non-agricultural area location demarcated for habitation).
